How to Add Plain Text into Databricks Notebook

You may have seen in Demo videos simple plain text above the code which explains the code. This is a good way of making tutorials or rather explain to others what exactly your code does. In this post, I'm going to explain to you How to Add Plain Text block into Your Azure Databricks Notebook.



Steps to Do

  1. Add a New code block using (+) sign
  2. Type %md to add markup or Plain text block

You can also add HTML like tags to change the format of text.

Even though there were not many cases found in Sri Lanka, from March first week, they found the initial case a patient who works as a tourist.
